Hooey, MORE talking heads, compounded by cut and paste. If you feel really, really tempted to do that, it's because either you aren't giving it enough time, or because your process is taking you too long, or both. You want the amount of time you put into each page to be consistent, but also to fit with how often you update and with your life in general. It doesn't matter how pretty your comic starts out looking if it takes you so long per page that you can't always update on time, or if you always have to put it off for other things in life. I think, here, I was just pushing my drawing abilities out to the edges (at the time)...it looks a lot like I was most comfortable with profile or straight-on views of faces. I do recall being pretty pleased, at the time, with how Jo's face came out. /rolleyes
